The Grace Story

Grace Quintal is

• And principal of Grace Professional Cosmetics

December, 2005, it began in a little kitchen (the official office location of entrepreneurs everywhere) in Plum Island, Massachusetts, where Grace M. Quintal, principal and founder of Grace Professional Cosmetics briefly resided and decided to purchase her own line of cosmetics. The kitchen, a vision, and a written plan were all she needed to get her company rolling.  Those things, and of course, some capital to actually purchase the make-up. All of those things, and above all faith, prayers, patience, and a big sense of humor. By April, 2006, like any other self respecting, single mothering (at the time) entrepreneur, she emptied the small amount of life savings she had, and bought herself enough make-up to take to the streets.  Only in this case, the streets were a handful of Massachusetts beauty schools and a couple of bridal clients. Since April 2006, Grace has held over 100 classes and has certified 200 people! She is booked solidly through wedding season in the Northeast part of the country, and, only after being in business for one year became the Official Make-up Sponsor of the New England Patriots Cheerleaders (the perfect season).  Grace has had works published in “Sports Illustrated” on-line, amongst a variety of other noteworthy publications to her credit.

The Grace Team Story

And so the story continues…can anyone certify all those people and then not develop a team to work with?  Grace could not imagine learning information and not sharing that information and helping others.  The beauty industry happens to have a common tale to it, in that it is comprised mostly of young, financially and/or emotionally struggling, single mothers who are attending school and working several jobs with whatever energy they can muster to better their life situations. Grace began her company as one of these women, and with persistence, determination and what she believes to be the helping hands of God, she has built a vehicle to assist others in their pursuit of success. The Grace Professional Cosmetics team is made up of licensed stylists, estheticians, and certified make-up artists who provide styling services for a variety of productions and events, be it bridal, runway, or film.  The Grace Professional Cosmetics brand is used for make-up applications, and only professional hair care products are used for styling to achieve the best looks for clients. The Grace team is also skilled at providing product and technique education to licensed salon professionals and event clientele.

The Grace team is really the best, what can I say? The talent comes from all ends of the spectrum with an equal amount of "pre-beauty" industry background. What we have here is pure professionalism when it comes to the working talents and ethics of this team, and pure joy when it comes to the beings these fine souls are. When I am not available to provide you with styling services, I encourage you to consider hiring one of the many talented people on the team. As you continue to browse this site, you will see a lot of smiles and probably feel some of the laughs.  They are real.  Without this team, it would be very difficult to brag about Grace Professional Cosmetics.
